I bought this hat as a birthday gift for my wife after she mentioned wanting something that would actually protect her whole face from the sun. Doing my duty as a good husband, I listened. At first I spotted it on Anthropologie (always a stylish pick from a stylish buyer), but when I saw it was by Terrain, I tracked it down directly from the brand’s site instead.

The hat is everything she wanted: casual, stylish, and extremely practical. She loves that she can toss it in the car, stuff it into a bag, or take it to the park or beach without worrying about it losing its shape. It looks great while also doing its job with sun coverage.

For me, it ended up being one of those “win-win” gifts—my wife feels cared for, and I get some extra points as a husband and dad. Stylish and practical, this is the kind of everyday accessory that earns its keep.
